Kim gushed about her personal office for SKKN at her brand's headquarters, and revealed there was going to be a tour of it on YouTube soon.

'And just one more time, you guys I love my office. Shout out to Tommy and Waldo for decorating it and for working with Michelle, from Rick Owens, who made all this stuff...but yeah this is just a glimpse of my daily office life and what I do.'

Adding: 'And we actually have a whole YouTube video coming out showing our entire SKKN Kim office because its pretty major and you guys got to see what's going on in here. This is just my personal office so stay tuned for the SKKN by Kim office tour.

Kim kicked off the video standing in her office; she did not show herself in her stories, she was just heard speaking as she toured the office.

Behind the scenes: Kim also revealed that ex husband Kanye West came up with the name, packaging and font for her just released skincare brand SKKN

'I'm here in my office and I just wanted to share with you guys some of the creative process of how we came up with the packaging and the name SKKN by Kim. And how we picked color tones.'

'And usually... these are some of the mood boards from our original brainstorming sessions and usually everything is like sculptures, art pieces, things from my home... this is like an Axel Vervoordt home. These are some early renderings... been trying out all different types of fonts.

Kim then gave ex-husband Kanye, 45, a special shout out.

'And of course my creative process wouldn't have been complete... and I always give credit when credit is due without Kanye... Ye. And he brought his team and introduced me to Willo [Perron] and came up with the new name. That was actually his idea and the packaging shapes were his and even the font he did, just like Skims.'

Kim said: 'So you can see the outer packaging, we found all these old references and I loved that material and then you can see that that's really the material... something similar...'

'When I realized that we wanted to really merge all my KKW brands and not have the customer go to three different sites, KKW Skin, KKW Fragrance and KKW Beauty... we wanted to come up with one name, kind of like Skims [her loungewear brand].

'The team came up with the name SKKN - I think that like Kanye and Willo - and SKKN by Kim. And I just love it. And I'm so excited that you guys are on this journey with us and I just wanted to share a little behind the scenes of our creative process.'

'And then of course when we thought of the name, we thought oh how perfect, the SKKN, which is how Ye was spelling it - the KK for Kim K - was really cute to us. And I really liked it. And also hearing Skims and Skin and then SKKN by Kim is really cute... we all just really liked it,' Kim said.

In 2019, Kim revealed that Kanye was the 'ghost creative director' of Skims,' in an interview with New York Times Columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin.

She said he not only drew the logo for the brand, but also helped with the packaging, selecting models and hiring photographers.

More inspiration: So you can see the outer packaging, we found all these old references and I loved that material and then you can see that that's really the material... something similar...'

Kim continued, chatting about how the products are refillable, which will reduce waste.

'And Willo and his whole team helped develop the packaging and make it sustainable and come up with the pods that go inside and that was really important to me. And this outer packaging being recyclable was really important to me. And I love how it all just comes together and looks like our stone references,' Kim said.

Kim also had also talked about earlier mock ups they made: 'These are actually made out of stone and we had these mocked up first because we wanted to really see what we wanted it to look like and so we have all these renderings and actual mockups before the final product.'

She said that when Kanye first saw the initial packaging he did not like any of it: 'You guys should have seen the first set of packaging. And when I tell you, Kanye walked in the room and was like this is not it and he was right. Packaging is like definitely his thing.'

Adding: 'And when Willow and the team were able to really figure out the whole sustainable part and all of this packaging inside pulls out... but we really figured out a way to make it refillable and I think just for our environment and everything it wasn't really an option that was just exactly what we were going to get. It was a requirement.'

Holding another mockup, this time made of glass, she said: 'See how smooth... this was one of the first originals and this is glass and they were all glass and it got really heavy. So we through so many different stages that I'm so excited to show you guys.'
