The 56-year-old, John Daly, is an American professional golfer who is a member of the PGA Tour. He won the US Open and Open Championship in 1996 and 1995, respectively. Despite him making many records under his name, people admire him for his colorful choice of clothes. Some find it fun and some bizarre. But 2 months back, his comment made people frown.

John Daly has always been in the news for some or the other thing – be it his game, his victories, or his personal life. But recently, American conservative political commentator and television presenter, Tomi Lahren, revealed a fact about him which took the internet by storm. In an interview, Lahren fearlessly told about the one time he played with Daly.

Tomi told how once Daly watched a video of himself hitting a golf ball. But here is the twist. The ball was in his friend Steve’s mouth. This incident happened after a night of drinking.

Not just this, the two-time major champion, Daly also told Tomi that he would have achieved greater success in golf if his wishes came true.

During the show ‘Tomi Lahren is Fearless’ on OutKick’s YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, Daly was his first guest and he revealed what Daly said about his winning. He said that he could make more victories on his own only if PGA allowed him and fulfilled one of his wishes.

Daly said, “If the PGA Tour let me play drunk, I’d win a lot more tournaments. And if I could play the tour barefooted, that’d be nice.” You might find it funny, but Daly had to go through the repercussions of this statement on Tomi Lahren’s show.

This request of Daly landed him with a bucket of problems. After this bizarre statement on Tomi Lahren’s show, the PGA Tour fined him along with suspension. Daly has been in and out of the PGA Tour and still America loves him for his colorful personality. Yes, the request was bizarre as it is against the decorum of the sport, but his fan following doesn’t care!
