Chicago - Another day, another shameless robbery occurred in a company near Chicago's expensive Near North District. This time, the goal is the luxurious Gold Coast car gallery.

On Saturday afternoon, two people came to snatch this Lamborghini and Bentley showroom. One stayed at the door with a gun. Another smashed the display case with a hammer and snatched a million-dollar watch. At that time, there were ten customers including children in the showroom.

"He is very smart and didn't raise a gun because my guy has a gun," said dealer boss Joe Petitto. "If he raises that gun, he will be shot and we may defend ourselves in court."

The robbery occurred on October 11 in a store on Michigan Avenue near Chicago.

In less than 20 seconds, the owner said that eight luxury watches were stolen.

After teenagers poured into the city centre last Saturday, police patrols have been stepped up this weekend. Twenty teenagers were arrested and a CTA bus driver was attacked.

At least for now, the dealer's door will be locked even during working hours. Service is by appointment only. The police are still trying to track down the perpetrator.

This is one of many similar crimes in the neighborhoods of Chicago’s Near North, Mag Mile, Gold Coast, Loop and Streeterville in the past few months:
