Elliot’s Wood Fired Kitchen & Tap is preparing to add a third restaurant.

The popular spot for wood-fired pies and drinks first opened in Newark before launching a Pataskala location last year.

Its third eatery, which according to General Manager and Partner Justin Dager is scheduled to open in the first or second week of October, will be located at 266 E. Main St. in New Albany, in the former home of Soulshine Tavern.

The restaurant is also owned by Dager’s parents, Mike Sarap and Andre Sarap, and his uncle, Director of Operations and Partner Tom Sheehan. The family ownership group also operates Red Oak Pub and Restaurant in Newark.

The new 3,000 square-foot space will resemble the pizzeria’s other two locations, but will also bring in several new elements, according to Dager.

“We put in new laminate flooring, a leather granite bar, and like in our other locations a wood-fired pizza oven that comes from California,” he said.

The eatery will also feature a cooler with several transparent walls so guests can peek inside the pizzeria’s expansive beer collection.
