The plastic outer shell will be fixed to the chair by means of hidden clips, allowing it to be removed and attached multiple times. Visible screws or bolts will not be acceptable.
The chair seat will be made of the following parts:
Bottom surface: a plastic outer shell made of high impact linear polyethylene resistant to fading by exposure to ultra-violet light, with an anti-static finish to repel dust and dirt.
The plastic bottom shell will cover and protect the seat folding mechanism. It must be easy to remove and must provide ready accessibility to the seat folding mechanism for maintenance.
The plastic bottom shell must be available in a minimum of 5 colors.
The chair seat will be built in such a manner that it will be relatively easy to replace any of its parts in case of damage without having to replace the entire seat or put the chair out of commission.
Interior surface: the interior surface of the seat will be made of a hard panel base, ergonomic in form, with a polyurethane foam pad an average of 75 mm thick, which distributes the weight of the person sitting on it, covered by superior grade fabric
Seat folding mechanism: the seat will fold closed by means of a strong, high quality steel mechanism, which has been tested and proved to withstand being closed and opened 300,000 times. This mechanism will consist of a separate unit of steel springs, brakes, & nylon bearings and parts that do not require lubrication and maintenance. The return of the seat to a folded closed position must be silent, without any noise.
Technical Tests - OUR theatre seat,auditorium chair and cinema seatingpass the following tests:
1. Static pressure of 300 kg concentrated 8 cm from the front interior edge of the seat.
2. Physical testing of the seat's folding mechanism equal to 300,000 times its being opened & closed again (approximately 30 years use).
3. The placing or dropping of a 20 kg sack of sand 25,000 times on the seat and back of the chair.
ARM RESTS OF theatre seat,auditorium chair and cinema seating
the arm rest will be connected directly to the steel base of the chair. The arm rest will be made of high impact polymer, formed to provide maximum comfort to the arm, made for use in harsh environments, and be easy to clean. the arm rest can be wood too(beech wood,dark walnut wood).
NUMBERS FOR SEATS & ROWS OF theatre seat,auditorium chair and cinema seating
Seats: a metal plate will be used for the seat numbers and placed in a small depression in the back shell of the chair designed for this purpose. The plate must be attached by rivets.
Rows: rows will be marked by a metal plate 5 cm in diameter, fixed by rivets to the outside surface of the first chair in each row.
UPHOLSTERY FABRIC OF theatre seat,auditorium chair and cinema seating
The upholstery fabric will be either Interweave or Sherpa Shire made of Olfin fibers.
The upholstery fabric is fire-resistant, The fabric is abrasion resistant (175,000 abrasion cycles)
